You can go Offline to A Friend in Facebook Chat if you don’t want to chat to him on facebook
Method to show offline chat status to a friend in facebook
- In Facebook chat bar, click on Options and go to Advanced Settings
- Click on Under Advanced Chat Settings
- Tick on Under “All your friends see you except…”, Enter name of friends to whom you want to show offline (you can also include lists if you’ve made).
